IBCLC, CLC

My own breastfeeding journeys with my now 10 and 8 year old boys inspired and motivated me to make a difference for other families in our community.

Mama when I say I get it, I really mean it. We struggled with undiagnosed tongue and lip ties, food intolerances, inability to take a bottle, a NICU stay, weight loss, oversupply and recurrent mastitis.

With the help of my community of other mommas and wise women, my instincts and intuition were validated, and I was able to breastfeed them both exclusively to 1.5 years. I am thrilled to now be able to offer that same care to my families.

Professional Experience

My care and support of postpartum families started over 10 years ago with my leadership of The Springfield Babywearers, the creation of a monthly support group for moms, and teaching prenatal yoga in Springfield, MO.

I had the privilege of working for the Doula Foundation in town as a postpartum doula for two years and then founding and owning Flourish Family Doulas from 2018-2023, where I provided postpartum doula care , lactation support, and managed a team of doulas and educators.

I became a CLC in 2019 and in 2020 began working towards my IBCLC certification. I had the amazing experience of working side by side with midwives, nurses, and chiropractors at Family Birth and Wellness as I earned my 1,000 clinical hours and furthered my education over the 2.5 years I was employed there.

I have served over 1,500 families in the Springfield MO area with lactation care since I became a CLC and then IBCLC and I absolutely love this work!
